For professionals working in one or more of these industries, these terms actually entail two very different things. Essentially, the difference between them is that a renovation refers to restoring something to a previous state, while a remodel refers to creating something new.
We trained to do both.
What is deconstruction? While “demolition” destroys building features and sends them to the landfill, “deconstruction” is a more environmentally-friendly alternative. Deconstruction is the systematic method of dismantling building structures and features to maximize their potential to be reused, resold, and/or recycled. In a deconstruction project, our trained crews remove reusable building materials and components to be reused for different projects, while at the same time diverting these materials from the landfill.
Option 1 is a complete pool removal. This method gives you the opportunity to use your backyard to build a structure, add on to your home, or build a new pool.
Option 2 is a pool fill-in. We punch a large hole in the bottom for drainage and take the top 18 to 24 inches of the pool walls down. The pool fill-in is the most popular choice.
Option 3 is to simply fill the pool with dirt. This method leaves the pool shell and deck intact.
